Grace and elegance filled the University Coliseum as 12 beautiful ladies compete to nab the coveted title, Miss SWU PHINMA 2020, last December 13, 2019.

During the Question and Answer portion, Daxboeck responded to SWU PHINMA’s Olympics marathon qualifier Mary Joy Tabal’s famous quote, “It’s about beating your own record, reaching your own goals. So whenever every step feels like a struggle, I just listen to the cheering and remember what is set out to be and keep on walking because in finishing we all win,” in an inspiring manner.
“Our life isn’t a competition. We don’t have to race forward,” she said.
“I know that it’s hard, but we should stand up and never give up to be the best that we can be,” she added.
On her personal Facebook account, she expressed how grateful she was for the people that supported her.
“I can’t express how grateful I am for all the support I have received. There were times that I didn’t believe in myself but you all stood like a boulder for me, strong and firm to tell me that I could do it and because of that I can’t thank you enough,” she posted.
In a separate interview with The Quill, she revealed that her inspirations were here family, friends, and God. She also expressed her feelings after being crowned as the new Miss SWU PHINMA.
