What is it like to be an employee at SWU PHINMA?
It has always been a privilege given this opportunity to work with them. I’ve been inspired with the vision given by the President so this is actually the energy that keeps me going on despite the challenges that we have been through. Because of that vision, I could always see that there’s something that would happen
Dr. Angelita P. Canene, University Registrar
It has something to do with the employees being empowered, an empowered employee! It’s like working with pride. After 6 years being at SWU PHINMA, there’s a lot of difference. I appreciate the fact that they immediately take care all employees.
Dr. Ellen S. Abao, DVM
For most just like you know, being the best that you can be. But you really are doing something along with its mission on providing quality education for the betterment of everybody, for the betterment of the students. That’s how it takes to be a PHINMA employee.
Xycrize Jade Salibongcogon, College of Medical Technology
For me, a Phinma employee is an employee with a heart, focused on serving the students, the whole community, and especially I’m the head librarian, the academic community. As a librarian, I was given the opportunity to really be of value in my profession. We were given the opportunity to express ourselves individually at the same time professionally.
Arlene M. Belza, Head Librarian
I didn’t expect to work here as a teacher but when I was a student, it was one of my long term goals. Now I’m very glad that I became one of the persons that can change people’s lives through imparting knowledge so that they will become the best version of themselves and excel in their field of profession. Also, working in SWU PHINMA feels like home and I never really get intimidated by the environment as I was also a product of this institution. From that one advantage, it also made me face my daily routine and job confidently.
Juvi Alicabo, College of Rehabilitative Sciences
SWU Phinma is a very unique institution and I couldn’t be any happier to be a part of it. Being an employee for almost 4 years now has been a great experience for me. We engage in innovative, creative and collaborative projects that help both staff and students grow. Along with this, we manage to achieve cooperation from difficult situations; enough to accomplish the task of teaching and learning the lessons. Being surrounded with the best colleague in our department made it easier to fulfill the duties and task that is assigned to me, and above all, I enjoyed teaching my wonderful students.
